Josh Butler has become one of the UK’s most revered talents in house music, releasing an amalgam of dancefloor belters on the likes of Noir, Cajual and MadTech since his breakthrough track ‘Got a Feeling’ on Chase&Status’ imprint, MTA. A healthy amount of industry awards from Beatport and DJ Mag saw a rapid boost in Butler’s profile, taking his bass fuelled sound to SW4, Secret Garden Party and lots more over the years, before becoming a regular booking at Egg LDN’s Friday night house and tech house sessions. Remaining a strong force to be reckoned with, the Middle Floor’s soundsystem is set to receive a thorough work-out on May 25th.
Blending deep house with shades of ghetto-funk, Mark Jenkyns joins Butler after a slew of releases on Hot Creations and Hot Waves boosted his profile further into the global electronic soundscape. After a busy year covering terrain as far-flung as UAE, Perth and back to Europe, Jenkyns returns to Egg after the success of his latest ‘Soulfood’ [Hot Creations] release back in March.
Audiojack complete the line-up, a duo who head up their own label Gruuv as well as working as producers, DJs and promoters since launching their Sunday Social free party series in Ibiza in 2015. Continuing to flourish on an international scale, the pair remain relevant and avoid trends and contrived ideas, something that will no doubt catapult their career onwards throughout 2018.
